The American Heart Association's Basic Life Support course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest.

It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.  

Upon successful completion of the course, including a CPR, AED skills test and written test, students will receive a BLS CPR course completion card, valid for two years.

(3.5 hour course)

The American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Upon successful completion of the course, including a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.

(3 hour course)

Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8-hour training to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

Topics covered: Depression and mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, Trauma, Psychosis, Substance Use disorders.

(8 ½ hour course. Can be broken into two days of 4 hours each)

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training is a behavior management system that teaches simple skills for assessing, managing, and responding to risk behavior at work.

The focus is on verbal de-escalation, prevention, and early intervention. Safe physical intervention options are also taught, to be used only as a last resort.

This time-tested program gives you an effective framework for decision making and problem solving. It also equips you with the skills and confidence to champion a culcutre of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security.
